Kingspans k103 Insulation is Kingspans new Lower Lambda phenolic floor insulation board.
Kingspan Kooltherm K103 replaces Kingspan Kooltherm K3. Because this has a higher thermal insulation performance and being a rigid phenolic insulation board it can be used under screed finished floors or suspended timber floors.
Importantly Kingspan phenolic floor board comes in a range of thicknesses from 20 mm to 150 mm. Offering considerable advantages over some other floor insulation K103 offers both a higher degree of insulation along with a higher compressive strength.

Kingspan Kooltherm K103 has an amazing thermal conductivity of 0.019 W/m K compared to the standard Kooltherm range which is 0.020 W/m K. The Insulation board has a Euroclss ‘F’ Fire rating and is resistant to the passage of water vapour. These boards are manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone depletion and low Global warming potential. Kingspans phenolic floor insulation is the perfect product for both new builds and refurbishment applications and is easy to install and handle. A versatile insulation product that can be cut with a fine tooth saw and joints butted closely together. This boards facing will not react with the concrete screed as foil faced insulation boards do.
