Kingspan GreenGuard Insulation
Kingspan GreenGuard insulation is a high performance fibre free extruded polystyrene. This Extruded polystyrene insulation board is a replacement for the Kingspan Styrozone insulation. It is an insulation manufactured in 4 different grades GG300 R GG300 S GG500 R and GG700 R. Being a high density insulation material makes these products ideal for a large range of insulation projects. Filling the gap in the market where a standard PIR or Phenolic insulation board would not be suitable. All of the Styrozone insulation range of products are made using a zero ozone depletion blowing agent which has a low global warming potential. Importantly GreenGuard can achieve thermal conductivities as low as 0.34 W/m K.
GreenGuard GG300 R Insulation
GreenGuard GG300 R is designed for use in applications such as inverted roofs , car park decks and heavy duty industrial / commercial uses such as cold store flooring. Please note that when looking to use this product in an inverted roof project the thermal conductivity used from the data sheet to do thermal calculations should be the design value and not the declared value. Greenguard GG300 S is the same board but comes in a larger board size of 2500mm x 600mm.
Kingspan GreenGuard GG500 R
GreenGuard GG500 insulation boards are a more denser equivalent in thermal performance board as the Kingspan GG300 Insulation. Again due to the nature of this product it is a perfect solution for use where heavy duty insulation materials are required. These can include places such as car park floors and industrial warehouse flooring and again ideal in cold store facilities for flooring insulation.
GreenGuard GG700 Insulation R
GG700 is the densest of the insulation materials in the GreeGuard insulation product range. As with the other high performance extruded insulation in the GreenGuard range this is a perfect solution for heavy duty underfloor insulation projects where thermal insulation is specified. This extruded polystyrene insulation achieves a similar thermal conductivity to the Greenguard GG500.
