Rockwool RWA45

RWA45 from Rockwool is a 45kg per m3 dense volcanic rock insulation. Designed for use in a range of building projects where fire , acoustic and thermal properties are required. The Rockwool RWA45 insulation provides excellent acoustic, thermal and fire performance due to its density.
The Rockwool RW Slab range is certified to EN 13162. The RW range of which RWA45 is part of is made up of high quality resin bonded slabs in a variety of thicknesses and densities.

Easy to install and handle Rockwools RWA45 insulation slab is an excellent choice when choosing an insulation product for your project.

An ideal solution for use in partition walls , floors , roofs and ceilings where Euroclass A1 non combustible is required.

Using Rockwool RW range can reduce the risk of spread of fire in a building due to its great fire resistance.

Thermally RWA45 achieves a Lambda value of 0.035W/mK making it a thermally efficient insulant.

Rockwools RW product range offers excellent acoustic , fire and thermal insulation qualities. Along side this it is also water repellent, durable and cost effective.

Rockwool RW insulation consists of semi-rigid and rigid insulation slabs manufactured from high quality resin bonded volcanic rock slabs which are CE marked to EN 13162.

This dense rock insulation currently complies with all the requirements of non-combustible materials/products as defined in UK and Ireland Building Regulations.

One of the qualities of the Rockwool range of materials is that they are designed to reduce sound. This is achieved by obstructing the sound transmission through an element of the structure or by absorbing the sound into the surface. The fibres in the Rockwool absorb sound with high coefficients over a broad frequency range making it a great acoustic insulation.

The Rockwool RWA45 insulation range comes in different thicknesses from 25mm to 100mm and are made in slab sizes of 1200mm x 600mm.
