Recticel Powerdeck F
Recticel Powerdeck ‘F’ is a flat roof insulation that is designed for use in conjunction with built up felt and single ply waterproof membrane construction. This high specification flat roof insulation has a high compressive strength of 150 kPa and overall excellent dimensional stability. Because of this it is an excellent choice for flat roofs providing a flat finish ready for final construction layers to be added. Manufactured in the UK Recticel Powerdeck has a perforated mineral coated glass fleece facing on both sides of the high specification PIR insulation core. Importantly this Recticel insulant meets Euro class ‘F’ for fire performance thus enhancing the properties in your construction. Manufactured in thicknesses of 30mm up to 150mm (some of these made to order) it can cover most insulation requirements for its purpose.
Installation of Recticel powerdeck ‘F’ insulation
Recticels Powerdeck insulation is lightweight and only 1200mm x 600mm making it easy to get onto the roof and quick and simple to install. The thermal performance of this Recticel board can achieve lambda values of between 0.024 and 0.026 W/m-K depending on thickness. Powerdeck insulation can be easily cut to shape with a saw and fixed using various methods depending on the finished top layer. This versatile insulation board is suitable for both refurbishment and new build projects alike. Another notable characteristic of this insulant is that it will not degrade or deteriorate when exposed to moisture.
