Celotex GA4000 Insulation Board
Celotex GA4000 Insulation board is a general application material. It is manufactured from PIR foam and is covered in low emissivity foil facings on both sides. Celotex Insulation GA4000 is designed for general purpose uses such as in pitched roof and flat roof cut to fit applications. Other uses include underfloor insulation or for cladding timber or steel framed buildings.
Celotex PIR GA4000 is the most commonly used insulant from the Celotex insulation range. Commonly available in 2400×1200 size sheets, and in various thicknesses from 50 mm – 100 mm. Celotex boards are easy to cut and install. Furthermore they are a perfect solution to insulate under screed or suspended timber floors. When installing these PIR boards under a screed floor it is advised to cover the insulation with a layer of DPM. This damp proof membrane will stop any reaction that the screed will have with the foil on the board. Finally GA4000 can also be used to insulate in wall partitions and the inside of external walls prior to installing plasterboard.
