British Gypsum Plasters
British Gypsum plaster range of Thistle backing and finishing plasters are available for both hand and machine application. This range of plasters has been used by generations of plasterers because of the consistent quality of the products they can achieve a perfect finish.
Included in the Thistle plaster range is Thistle Multi Finish, this plaster is ideal for use over undercoat plasters and on plasterboard. Its very versatile and makes a perfect patching plaster and coverage for this product is around 10 m2 per bag at 2 mm thick.
Thistle Board Finish plaster has the same coverage but is only for use on low to medium suction backgrounds such as plasterboard or Thistle Dricoat. Undercoat plasters are available such as Thistle Bonding Coat this is for use on backgrounds such as concrete or plasterboard finishes it has a coverage of approximately 2.75 m2 at 11 mm.
Thistle Browning plaster is used where moderate suction backgrounds are involved and covers 3.75 m2 at 11 mm. Thistle Hardwall plaster is used where a high impact resistance is required. This plaster has a quicker drying time and covers about 3 m2 per bag at 11 mm thick.
We can also supply specialist plasters such as Thistle Magnetic plaster for those of you that would like to get creative with the use of their wall. Thistle Magnetic plaster comes in 25 kg bags. This should be applied at a minimum of 3 mm thick to ensure magnetic qualities. A bag will cover about 5.1 m2.

Good for cheap insulation, i bought some celotex from them and it was delivered last week, it was a lot cheaper than anyone else in my area. i’m very happy with this service.
As a small building company we find that BMD will equal or beat our trade depot plus we get free delivery too !!, Also we can get everything in one order and being able to talk to an actual person rather than clicking on a website means we get the service we want. saves time and money whats not to like ? :-)
