Insulation Washers
Insulation Washers are a cheap but effective option for retaining insulation in place. Quite simply these Insulation fixings are large plastic washers that a screw can be put through and hold insulation materials in position. Any screw with a shank of up to a maximum of 6 mm can be used with this fixing. Once the insulation washer has been fixed in position there is a cap that can be put in place to cover the top of the screw. The cap seals the fixing thus ensuring there is no cold bridging effect through the screw. It should be noted that this type of fixing is not really suitable for use with insulated plasterboard.
This type of fixing is suitable for installing many different types of insulation . Insulation washers can be installed quickly and effectively with very little skill involved.
