Isorubber Base
Isorubber Base is an excellent acoustic insulation for use in floors. This Isorubber floor acoustic isolation mat works as a vibration reduction and sound isolation barrier. Most importantly this high performance sound reduction insulation is made from 90% recycled rubber materials. Consequently Isorubber will continue to perform for the entire life of the building under normal domestic loads. The density of this soundproofing insulation is 635Kg/m3 which ensures that this is a very tough and durable product.
The acoustic insulation product is very easy to install. Simply laid out like a carpet across the floor with a perimeter strip of IsoRubber Edge around the outside. to complete the installation all joints should be sealed using the appropriate Isorubber joint tape.
Primarily used in timber and concrete floor acoustic projects to achieve Part E compliance. Being an ideal soundproofing for most general construction soundproofing projects. Isorubber base can be used either on its own or with other products to make up soundproofing systems. This high performance sound insulation product is the main acoustic insulation component of Robust details E-FC-4 and E-FC-14. Finally Isorubber Base is suitable for installation alongside underfloor heating systems.
